If you are in a hurry or a flurry, here are some quick tips to help you reduce your calorie intake without having to fully commit to a weight management regime.
1. Cut your daily carbs in half. That means 1 slice of bread for a sandwich. And take half your usual rice/potato/pasta/noodles serving off your plate before you sit down to eat
2. Avoid sugar and honey. Use sweetener instead in drinks and when cooking
3. Ditch the milky coffees, like lattes and cappuccinos. Drink americanos or tea instead
4. Start each meal by eating salad or vegetables first
5. Have protein with every meal and snack
6. Get some extra sleep every night. Go to bed at least a half hour earlier than usual; and make this the norm.
